Happy Birthday little man! It's unreal that 3 years have gone by this fast. It feels like yesterday we were bringing our new baby boy home. And every since that day we've never been the same. The love and the joy that Austin brings into this house is never ending. He's such a sweet boy and so much fun! He gets so excited about life. He had a birthday party over the weekend and he loved every second of it. It was so cool to see him take it all in. We love you so much, Austin.
Then comes a baby in a baby carriage. All we can do now is wait. I can hardly keep myself from calling someone to see if they've heard anything. To explain, my brother and his wife are going to have their first baby tonight!! We're thinking and praying for you guys and that sweet little baby girl we are soon to meet!
We had a really nice 4th of July weekend. The Yankee Doodle Pops concert rocked. The city parade made for an early morning rise but it was worth it. And the fireworks show didn't disappoint. Most importantly we spent some time with our family and friends.Austin was really into it this year. He got to do sparklers for the first time, catch parade candy and watch the fireworks. I explained to him why we celebrate this holiday. And he said to me, "Mama, it's Amerca's burfday!"
This week Austin's saying, "Mama, my burfday's comin'!" And I think to myself, "I can't believe my baby's gonna be 3!"
