State Fair Time!

Another great time of year has come and gone. We love the state fair! There's so much to see and do there and now with Austin into it as much as we are, it makes for a lot of family fun. We went with Ryan's dad, Brian and his girlfriend, Vilma. Kaylee wanted to go with her friends this year!

Baby Hayden

I was so excited when my really good friend asked if I'd be interested in babysitting her little boy. I've known him since the day he was born. Austin has always called him 'Baby Hayden'. He's not a baby anymore but he is my youngest for now. I love his storytelling and his little voice. He's such a happy kid. I'm so delighted to have him apart of our daycare family.

Water baby

Austin can't get enough of the water especially when it's hot out and that's the only thing to do outside. I wonder if he's going to be a swimmer like his mommy and aunt and uncle. I gotta get this kid in some swimming lessons.

Do you hear that? No.....Exactly!

That is a quote by my brother-in-law, Shane. He said my kids make great birth control for him and Natalie. We can't get enough of our kids but sometimes we crave for the sound of silence. I don't get a lot of that these days so when it comes along I really treasure it. Some peaceful moments at the lake were:

1. Laying out on the dock
2. Going for a bike ride
3. Watching the boaters go by
4. 'Our last night adult cruise'

Good girls go bad

Natalie and I had to get in some tubing along with the young girls! We got a little crazy but we had some 'good times'! We did it last year and knew we'd go again this year. By the second to last day we knew our time was running out so we jumped in our tubes and got our butts whooped!

After all that we had to stop for a break in the cove!

Inseperable

These girls are inseperable! Kaylee and Lydia are quite the team. I'm so glad they have each other because every young girl needs a BFF! A lot of the pictures from the lake are of these two. They're always hamming it up and can't get enough of the camera. This post is for them.

Our trip to the lake

We had another great trip to the lake! We went with the Farley clan and had some really fun moments together or as Natalie called it 'good times!' We did a lot of relaxing, taking in the lake, going for bike rides and just being together. Going to the lake reminds me of when I was a kid and went to my grandparent's cabin. I'm so glad the kids can also have memories of going to the lake because they are some of my fondest. Thanks Uncle Tim and Uncle Mike for sharing your lake cabins with us!
